I mean, it's pretty much right there if you read between the lines, "he had a couple good days and is inching closer". Also the fact he was also skating briefly before the team came out today. Not sure how much clear it could be. He's obviously not quarantining if he is skating before the team is out.I don’t see anything where it says he’s injured. So you shouldn’t claim it’s a injury lol.

I like to roast marshmallows when camping. Now that I think about it, 100% of my marshmallow consumption is when I camp every 2-3 years. We're talking about camp, not preseason games, not preseason game, we're talking about camp.
He could be negative with symptoms still. And since he still could have symptoms he’s avoiding his team. All you have to do is read between the lines. The fact he said inching closer leads me to believe it’s most likely COVID related. But the fact of the matter remains the same. No one can be certain wether it’s a injury or illness.I mean, it's pretty much right there if you read between the lines, "he had a couple good days and is inching closer". Ok people.. read this post carefully. And remember edge knows his stuff when it’s rangers related. The whole reading between the lines thing is straight out of the concussion discussion.
So I’ll give this another go.
Sometimes someone, anyone, might find themselves exposed to someone with the COVID virus, but not produce a positive test.
This same person, who could be anyone from a plumber to a hockey player, or neither of those occupations, could be feeling under the weather and kept away as part of an abundance of precaution because of the worldwide situation we have.
I’ve heard of things like that happening right now.

Could take up to 14 days to produce a positive test. Why would they be risking him in the building if he was in close contact with someone who tested positive? Just doesn't add up. But a minor injury, that makes more sense why he is out there skating with another player before the team gets out there. Just my 2 cents. I'm sure we will find out soon enough what the real issue is/was.The whole reading between the lines thing is straight out of the concussion discussion.

I’m not someone who spreads rumors — but I wanted to share that a little birdy I know who works at a facility that does COVID testing for various professional sports teams told me Zbad did not test positive.
This is the same buddy of mine who broke the Browns news to me literally, 2 days before it was publicly announced.
Zbad’s either under travel-quarantine, or it’s something else. Probably something minor.
Hell, an infected hang nail in his toe could be the reason. But it’s not something people should be worrying about though.
Some of y’all need to freaking relax. You guys overreact to stupid shit for no reason.
Agreed. That's true for a lot of our guys - positive and negative.
We’re not even talking about preseason games, we’re talking about scrimmages. Probably don’t want to get too up or too down right now.

Really happy that Buch has looked great in camp, but... "Breakout camp"? lmao, let's see how it translates to games.
I understand the need to want to share something like this, but your friend is breaking federal law, and a very harshly penalized federal law.I’m not someone who spreads rumors — but I wanted to share that a little birdy I know who works at a facility that does COVID testing for various professional sports teams told me Zbad did not test positive.

I get we all expect medical info on all our players but medical privacy is a thing, and should be respected.

HIPAA only applies to health care providers, though, so if the friend is not in health care, they are not violating that particular law (though there could be confidentiality agreeements or other laws). Just want to clarify that, as it is a misconception.
As @Edge alluded to, just because someone tests negative for COVID does not mean that they are not having symptoms or can be contagious and transmitting the virus. When this whole nightmare started back in March, I had symptoms that felt like the flu on steroids. I've had the flu before and know what it feels like; what I had was another level above the flu in terms of intensity of symptoms. I'm in my 30's with no known medical issues/on no medications, etc, but I was knocked on my ass for over a week. Even with all that, I got tested on day 2 of having symptoms and tested negative for COVID. Basically, just because someone tests negative does not mean they don't have COVID, as well. There's always the chance of a false negative (would not be the first time) or a poor sample due to bad technique or what have you.
