pretty muchSo I guess the Eichel for Marner will be a thing all summer long now.

Leafs fans are being critical of Marner for his playoffs but he's also coming off a 4th in league scoring season - I don't see it as a sell low.
Some teams might have less interest but the teams that could get it done, the ones with the cap space and assets, are likely rebuilding/retooling and likely not as concerned.
BEYOND reducilous that Leafs fans think the Leafs will be good with Campbell and a SHIT backup for $2M are going to get the job done next season.
THIS fanbase will never learn. Just love losing.
6.2million per year average over the next 4 years once his signing bonus is paid this summer. Many of those teams will have internal caps and will be concerned about the bottom line and cash flow/signing bonuses though.
In 4 years he becomes a UFA if he doesn't sign with buffaloOwen Power is leaning returning to school over being drafted by Buffalo. I know there’s loopholes for NCAAers. Is it possible for Toronto to get him?

somebody mentioned that Seth Jones has said he wouldn't sign here long term?
Can anyone find proof of him saying this?
Arvidsson could be a guy who could fit well imo.
Am I alone in wanting Rask? Him/Campbell esp when he comes back from the surgery, short term cheaper deal, being hated by Boston when he gave them so much. Maybe we can get some reverse love from the supposed hockey gods?
"Like I've said before, I'm not going to play for anybody else but the Bruins," Rask said. "This is our home. We have three kids in school here. At this point in my life and career, I don't see any reason to go anywhere else, especially with the health I'm looking at now and a recovery time of five to six months. Hopefully it works out that I recover well and then we can talk about a contract when the time is right for that."
He hasn’t outright said anything about not wanting to play in xxx place, but I think it’s safe to assume with his political leanings (big trumper/maga Stan) maybe a place as liberal as Toronto (Canada in general) wouldn’t be to his preferencesomebody mentioned that Seth Jones has said he wouldn't sign here long term?

Rask already said it's Boston or back home to Finland where he owns a team.
Can’t afford the $5m he’ll command anyway, not if you want to make any sort of tangible changes to the line upf***
I think first is a decision on Marner, then Hyman, then Rielly assuming the ask from Rielly isn't outrageous.
If you move on from Marner as long as the number is reasonable from Rielly you keep him.
If you keep Marner and let Hyman go you can probably still keep Rielly but the number probably needs to be a little lower.
Exactly. Campbell has put us in great shape to be able to spend more on the lineup. Would be silly not to capitalize on it. They'll go reliable tandem style goalie for 2-3 mil in all likelihoodCan’t afford the $5m he’ll command anyway, not if you want to make any sort of tangible changes to the line up
The dudes cooked, having surgery and don't know how motivated he will be to come back to a new team.Am I alone in wanting Rask?
