$5m Aav for Z would be reasonable imo. Tanev would be a good fit with Rielly too, so long as the Ava makes sense.

I would be on Fire Treliving Bandwagon if he signs Zadorov to a ridiculous AAV. I am already pissed at the overpayments to Matthews and Nylander; and then not asking Marner to waive his NTC/NMC

Just feels like the offseason options are narrowing and narrowing.

Markstrom, Saros, Ulmark, Thompson, Nedeljovik, etc are off the table in goal.

Marino, DeMelo, Sergachev, Pesce (rumours are he is signing in NJ), Myers, Chatfield, etc off the table for the blueline.

What does a good offseason even look like now? I don't want Zadarov, as he'll be overpaid more than most, and probably not Tanev given his age and the risk involved (unless he's signing for like 2 years X 3.5M, which he obviously won't).

I can still think of an offseason that would look good, but as the options narrow, the likelihood of that gets lower and lower.

I wouldn't be opposed/I am surprised Tre hasn't moved Jarnkrock and Kampf for cap space. They haven't worked out in the playoffs, and would rather bargain bin finds/Marlies looking to make the jump.

We need to sign two top 4 D, and we know we're overpaying for Tanev and Zadorov. So better be prepared. God I am bitter.

I feel like Tanev will get term not money. It’ll be a long deal but probably lower AAV.

I think it’s gonna be Tanev and Walker. Don’t see Zadorov signing here. He’ll want too much.

i have my doubts they can sign both, but if they do I really don't see an issue. It improves our team. Don't believe all you read about Zadorov. He was solid for Vancouver in the playoffs, and needs a quality partner to bring out the best in him. McCabe can be just that. At $5M aav i think it works, and he would be a fan favorite.
