Why is this stud taking team friendly deal? We got Rielly at 7.5m.

You might wanna put a
Bruins haven't been in the finals since 2019, it makes sense for them to try and improve. The Leafs, on the other hand, already have a Cup contender. Only slight tweaks (raises for everyone) needed
You might wanna put a sarcasm emoji after that statement. lol.

f*** YOU Treliving

Lindholm at 7.75 AAV for 2C was perfect for Toronto.

Cheering for this f***ing team is torcher
Stephenson would be better IMO. Trade Kampf and Jarnkrok and you can actually fit this under the cap...

Domi-Matthews-Marner
Knies-Stephenson-Nylander
Robertson-Tavares-McMann
Dewar-Holmberg-Grebyonkin

Rielly-Tanev
OEL-McCabe
Benoit-Liljegren

If I am Brad, I am telling Nicky Bobby to sit at home if he doesn't want to sign. There is a real opportunity here for him for the first time since he has been in the mix. Maybe Tre waits a day or two to see if he can pick up some fwd depth at discount prices.

You don't have to think every Boston move is a good one...

If stolarz signed there you'd be drooling

The draft and free agency is literally the worst day on hf boards. People literally gawk gawk over moves made on paper. Until the games start no one knows how these moves will play out.

Boston to me is the same as last year. With worse goaltending and a bottom six who will need to prove they can provide offense.

Still some decent forwards available. Maybe Brad is waiting for the initial wave to end or at least we hope.

Would love to add someone like Chandler Stephensson. But don't have the money I dont' think
You absolutely have $6 million left for Stephenson if trade Jarnkrok and Kampft to the likes of San Jose, for a bucket of pucks.

Centers
Matthews: $13,250,000
Stephenson: $6,000,000
Tavares: $11,000,000
Holmberg: $800,000

Left Wings
Domi: $3,750,000
Knies: $925,000
Robertson: $1,300,000
Dewar: $1,000,000

Right Wing
Marner: $10,903,000
Nylander: $11,500,000
McMann: $1,350,000
Grebyonkin: $875,000

Defense
Reilly: $7,500,000
Tanev: $4,500,000
OEL: $3,500,000
McCabe: $2,000,000
Liljegren: $3,000,000
Benoit: $1,350,000

Woll: $766,667
Stolarz: $2,500,00

Total: $87,769,667

Need some solid 3rd liners who can really elevate our PK.

Foegele, Janmark would be very solid additions if we can make it work. I also like Sprong quite a bit for some additional offense.

Overall I’m quite happy with our UFA so far. We added a top RHD and a pick moving d who can score from the back end. Didn’t hand out any nasty contracts. It’s quite obvious the plan is to spend money in 2025 which has a way better UFA crop and we will have 22 million coming off the books from Marner and Tavares
I think it would be dangerous to assume that those salaries will be gone. I think it's more likely that Marner is resigned at $1 million+ raise, and Tavares is resigned at something like $4 million per season. In that scenario, $22 million probably becomes more like $16 million, which will still open up a good amount of cap space.

The Naki
Just remember the team may try to keep a spot open for Cowan or Grebyonkin

They may force Robertson to sign something to, basically tell him to get his ass here and perform so we can trade him for a decent asset

What's interesting is that I think Tampa is also far worse than last season.
