That seems like it'd be an easy condition to meet. They don't even need to play him. Just put him in their lineup for a game and roll 11 forwards.

Yeah pretty much the same deal. Difference is Lou used 2nd and 3rd's in different years, while Dubas only paid the 1st in the one year.

The only thing that sucks about that is that he makes all of the $15M in real dollars the next 2 seasons, no signing bonuses. I doubt the Blues would want to retain and it takes a team like Ottawa out of it for a 3rd team retain option.

Me too, I’m high on Myers, but they get a really good D man back, and Myers didn’t cost anything, maybe that makes it easier to justify moving him?
