Semi-unrelated, somebody better tell Norris that living in his van "near a river in Detroit" is probably a bad idea

If you really look at the total package of change we've made including guys coming back from injury, we've significantly improved almost all aspects of the team.

Sánchez and Hawkins in the pen
Price #1 ace
Tulowitzki for offense and defense.

We can argue about cost but still this is a crazy improvement.

best positional lineup in baseball.

Pitching just got a lot better, the #5 he pushed off the rotation (Doubront) just made the team immensely better every 5 days, but Hutch is still a ****ing mystery and although Estrada has done well I still worry every game he takes the mound. I'd put their rotation now probably 10ish in the league.

Average bullpen.

They have all the tools to compete now, it's just a matter of if they can make up the required ground in 60 games.

If the season started today, assume pretty much everyone would pick us to be #1 in AL East.

If this roster hangs around next year for Stroman (and no one else did anything crazy), we'll be AL favourites.

Wilner is such a clown. He has no sense of humour. Knows everything. Is rude. I could go on.

These guys trying to lighten Wilner up on TV. He's not playing.

That would be 'change your underwear' material. Also, drop Hutch in September and insert Stroman

Haha, it's just ignorant amounts of talent. What a cool time to be a fan, I haven't been this excited in a while. Donaldson and Martin were super exciting, but you knew there were still some holes to be filled. We haven't had a legit Ace since Doc left, and with us not quite finished yet, I don't even know what else where we can go!

ross or gallardo please!

What would the price looks like for one of those two :help: :naughty: ?

No need to overpay for a closer IMO, too volatile a position :shakehead

Edit: Scratch the Gallardo thing as it seems that the club option for next year doesn't transfer in any trade, essentially making him a rental...no need for that here!

Don't like giving up assets for a rental considering where the Jays are in the standings.. Doubt the Jays sign Price. Having said that though probably the best chance the Jays have going deep into the playoffs since 93'.

What I'm saying is that you guys are trading us JUpton, Ross, Cashner, and Kimbrel.
lol the way Preller and AA are going (or in Preller's case...will be going...) it's almost inevitable the Padres and Jays will do some sort of trade. They're like magnets.
