Do you people not realize that we **** out Pitching prospects and other elite prospects on the regular since AA came onboard?

The Cupboard was dry after the Marlins trade. We were fine. Our window is still the next 3 or so years. If Price doesn't re sign, we'll sign some other #1 guy with Buerhle and Dickey's contract money

Jays still have Sanchez(23) , Stroman(24), Hutchison(24) and they still have guys that are younger than that , that have potential as well. You're mostly giving up Norris for Price, you have to give to get. David Price is a Cy Young winner , an elite ace you aren't going to give up a bucket of balls for him. The cupboard wasn't dry after the trade with the marlins give me a break.

As a fan of hockey, this type of thing never works out well in the long run, but have to give them credit. They are trying.

I think Toronto is linked to Gallardo. I'm not too high on him, but he's better than what we have. Would much prefer Shields or Ross. Also would love to see Kimbrel come over in a deal with the Padres.

Perhaps Shields and Kimbrel together? Clears a ton of salary for the Padres...

Sure. But they got an ace. And in baseball, any prospect is far from a sure thing. So many things can go wrong.
