I'm hoping both take a discount for the pleasure of racking up points on the Tavares line for next year's payday.

It is somewhat odd though that none of the bottom teams have offered these guys a contract. Give Milano a $3M and offer to retain half at the deadline for picks.

I think at this point the signs are pointing to a Holl trade more than anything else. Don't think management has any plans to trade Sandin other than as a last resort

He had a few flashes last season, fewer than the previous season. He just isn't accomplishing much of anything out on the ice any longer. I'd assume a demotion to the Marlies would only be on paper.

Not really. One is a legit move the other not so much.
I suspect he already has a role defined for the following season in the organization and he’ll do whatever is asked this year to get his last season of NHL pay.
