Would you trade chychrun for that?

one of them would be nice. We really don't have the room for both, do we?
I'm hoping both take a discount for the pleasure of racking up points on the Tavares line for next year's payday.

It is somewhat odd though that none of the bottom teams have offered these guys a contract. Give Milano a $3M and offer to retain half at the deadline for picks.

Elliotte said while there are rare cases a player gets a PTO and signs with someone else, generally they stay with their PTO team. He heard ZAR wanted to stay East, and he thinks ZAR will get 800-850K. Toronto knows they can't do more than that.
Said this doesn't mean Sandin is being traded. Leafs priority is to get him signed. Stand off right now but they want him signed.

I think at this point the signs are pointing to a Holl trade more than anything else. Don't think management has any plans to trade Sandin other than as a last resort

Something we said for a few months now, it's definitely down to Holl or Kerfoot. I don't see any other way to make cap space. Seems a lot more likely that Holl gets traded but clocks ticking.

I cant see Holl moving without Sandin signed.

I wonder what the deal is with Simmonds. His play last year showed us he shouldn't be on this team. Marlies?
13th fwd IMO unless he wants to play elsewhere

He had a few flashes last season, fewer than the previous season. He just isn't accomplishing much of anything out on the ice any longer. I'd assume a demotion to the Marlies would only be on paper.
Suspiciously doesn't pass his physical = Robidas Island.
A demotion is less messy for the books.

He'll go to the Marlies and fill the role of Clune

That's all he has left to offer. He really has nothing left in the tank and shouldn't be anywhere near the Leafs.
