Maybe because Philadelphia thought they were closer to being contenders than pretenders before this year began?Yep, but, why would Philadelphia do this? They decided not to move him when he didn't have a contract and now that they sign him and he's become a leader on that squad with a letter on his jersey and they've locked him up for 3 more years past this one and now they're going to move him?
Maybe because Laughton’s trade value is probably at the highest it’ll be and a team will overpay to acquire him this year?
I’m not sure, maybe you’re right and Philadelphia doesn’t want to move Laughton. Who knows lol
