Lol, it's happening!
BOOM. LOL
Lol, it's happening!
I don’t think Washington has any plans to trade him. They are retooling a bit but definitely not rebuilding.Wilson
Exactly my thinking too. Bunting is a product of his environment, so that would be my max offer.
The beauty about it is that Perron would come off the books at the exact same time Nylander and AM need their new deals.

Bunting is tough to figure out, he plays well in the top 6 but on the rare occasions he hasn't played with top players and was moved to the 3rd line he wasn't just not productive, he was bad.Bunting is worth 2.5 m and not a penny more.
Or maybe Keefe saw Pilers dressing 7 Dmen and let McD goes Supernova, he is thinking he can do the same with AM, lol.I don’t love going with 11 forwards and making guys play more on the second half of a back to back.
Now if Gus can handle taking a few shifts at wing I wouldn’t mind so much.
He's only a year removed from a near PPG season, was great in the playoffs with St.Louis and even this season has top underlying numbers on his team. Not his fault the Wings are shit.I love Perron and he's largely been underrated throughout his career, and in a lot of ways he's a good fit, but I'd be a lot more excited for it if he wasn't 34.
Our new 4th is a dream…. To think we had the likes of Clifford, Simmonds, Anderson and the rest of the rotating wheel on it and now a set, indisputable 4th is awesome. I really ZAR stays in lineup, I like his forecheckThat top 9 is really well balanced. 4th line is really good too
They are a pitiful franchise and an embarrassment to the league. I've been relatively indifferent to them but the last year has been too much.Arizona would rather take lesser assets than retain salary

I call it..."GARYZONA" everyone else can now too. They are a pitiful franchise and an embarrassment to the league. I've been relatively indifferent to them but the last year has been too much.

I mean Tampa isn't expecting him to be a top 6 forward or anything like that, he'll likely slot in on their 4th line
He has some great stats relative to other players on his team, even the 3rd/4th liners who get similar opposition as him. SJ has a -20 goal differential 5v5 but were a +1 when he was on the ice. He's a sneaky good addition and one can see why Dubas wanted him as well

Sign me up for thatExactly my thinking too. Bunting is a product of his environment, so that would be my max offer.

His play has "come on" this season? More like the fans watching are shouting "COME ON!" in disgust.Chris Johnston: Maple Leafs’ Justin Holl cracks Chris Johnston’s decimated NHL trade board
What drama remains in the final hours before Friday’s 3 p.m. deadline? Here’s a look at those still in play.www.thestar.com
12. Justin Holl, Maple Leafs
Age: 31 | Position: RD
Contract status: $2-million cap hit, pending UFA
CJ’s take: If the Leafs decide to make another addition they’ll likely have to clear out salary and Holl could be the odd man out. The team currently has nine defencemen on its NHL roster and he’s a pending UFA. However, his play has come on as this season has worn on – so it’s no guarantee he’s moved.
Last 2 seasons he had 58 points in 56 games, followed by 61 points in 71 games. How good is Perron now?
Thats better than I thought.Last 2 seasons he had 58 points in 56 games, followed by 61 points in 71 games.
Has 38 in 60 on the Wings, with very good underlying numbers. He's got $4.75 million AAV until the end of next season.
Perfect fit with retention. Played with ROR in St. Louis cup win.
