So Domi could be had for an ask of a second.

Ive caught random posts about him and Marner not getting along. All I can find on the web is that they were OHL teammates at one time. Any truth to this or just rumours? Is Domi officially done or could he add some third line grit?

I've seen his stats and a lot of people have been talking about him for a long time.

Being honest... I don't watch Coyotes games much so what is a decent comparable to him? Or past player that's similar?

I'm warming to the idea of someone like him especially on the LW.

Domi would be a good add because he cares basically every game.

Domi doesn't get along with anyone - always has been the least liked guy in any room he's played in.

Yeah his journeyman status does make it seem like he's a problem

My only concern is locker room distractions, god knows we don't need that. I feel u though, as soon as I saw the B's got Bertuzzi, I warmed up a bit more to Domi.
 
Can't help but think that with the recent "all-in" moves, Dubas should (almost must) go out there and improve the goaltending if a deal is possible to be had. Relying on a broken Murray is a scary proposition, and I'm not convinced Samsonov has the fortitude to withstand the rigours of upwards of four rounds.

Who is the goalie that is realistically available that is actually better then Samsonov?

I mean he could be different now, but I know a few '95s who played with and against him growing up - all said the same things. People do change, but most of the time they don't change significantly.

The condition for the 2024 5th is right on Cap Friendly. Here is the only thing I can find....

Blackhawks trade Jake McCabe, Sam Lafferty to Maple Leafs for picks, prospects

"The fine print contains some intricate details. The Hawks sent conditional fifth-round picks in 2024 and 2025 to Toronto, the latter of which could become a third-round pick if McCabe falls short of some games-played thresholds next season."

And what goalie does? Gibson? Vejmelka? Talbot?

Wishful thinking on all of them. Even Saros has an up and down limited resume.

There has been talk that both Saros and Demko are available or could be had. How realistic those are, or the cost to obtain them, is uncertain. But I'm sure Dubas has been pounding the ground enough to flesh out if there are upgrades out there.
