Doesn't mean they won't keep Holl.
The guy from the Caps will be gone I would think.
I don't think it makes sense to move Kerfoot. If you want offense out of your bottom 6, you won't find many who will upgrade Kerfoot even with his 7% shooting percentage this year. Plus we could use a decent playmaker/passer down there if ROR ends up swapping with Jarnkrok.
I somewhat abandoned the thought but Beauvillier would actually not suck if he had retention. Scored huge goals for NYI in the playoffs. PPG since going to VAN when he started playing with good offensive players on a consistent basis.
Of course Domi is still there too... but the price can't suck.
What’s Lily’s status? Any update on his injury?
Yeah, good point.I figured Gus made more sense to keep in the event Rielly went down we'd still have a PP QB
McCabe-Brodie
Giordano-Liljegren
Gus-Schenn
Or
McCabe-Liljegren
Brodie-Schenn
Gus-Timmins/Mete/Benn
This is some kind of sick joke right? Can’t wait until he costs us another big game in playoffsFriedman said yesterday that the whole reason they double-retained on Orielly was to keep kerfoot aorund.
I think we have done quite well tbh, we definitely had a stinker yesterday but regular seasons means jack to me until the playoffs begin.
We still have plenty of time to get our groove back.
Get that garbage outta here!!!!!Cap hits:
Gustafsson - .8mm
Holl - 2.0mm
It has to be someone is my point. ZAR doesn't make enough to be able to get an upgrade. If it isn't Holl or Kerfoot, someone has to go or we stand pat.
He finished the game I think, but it's possible he sits out tonight if he's not 100%. And this might trigger a lot of people lol
It'll probably be a defenseman (even if it is Gustafsson) and that should be enough to sign Knies. Barely.
Obviously moving Holl gives them more options and is probably the more likely scenario at this point. Whether that is the right move is another question, but grit y'know... going against their "no grit without skill" mantra in pursuit of killer instinct has hamstrung this team more than anything else under this management, and it could be the same with Holl to Schenn.
Hall seeking a second opinion for an injury. LTIR shenanigans?
Seems Pasta signed an extension. 8 x $11.25.

I do believe there needs to be one more trade but I am not really sure it'll be in the net. It could be but who knows? As for Murray's health...yea he has the pedigree but this man is like glass...he fractures very easily. We do however have a top-notch facility in Toronto, I mean look at what we did with Kwahi, and how it has worked out with him in LA.It also takes a team to gel. Also, just because we made some trades doesn't mean we are going to win every game
McDavid is just being McDavid
I am very happy with the current state of the team. I think we added enough. Really not sure why we need to go on a arm's race
However, I wouldn't mind seeing if we can fit in, a veteran goalie. I have zero faith in Murray's health. It's too risky to flip a coin and hope for the best
I wouldn't be extending anyone until this core can prove they can winGreat signing for both sides on that Pastrnak extension…
Funny how Matthews is still making more on a contract signed 4/5 years ago?
At least Pastrnak signed for an 8 digit figure. Would not have been able to handle him re-signing for like $9 million.
