Sounds like it's Blais, Kravtsov and a 1st for Tarasenko retained. New York made out like bandits on this trade, both Blais and Kravtsov are nothing players and it's going to be a very late first.

Yes PP failed and since our PP are made up of our top guys, how’s that different from what I said.
Goalies letting in untimely weak goals is one thing but not scoring is another. Even if our goalies didn’t let in weak goals if our boys can’t score, they can’t win.

Mikkola is an underrated addition in this deal, he's good for 3rd pairing duties in the playoffs.

I would envision him as Zach Bogosian for us in 2021 but with more limited use if that makes sense. Don’t think he would make or break the D corps but there would be moments where I would want him as an option.

But not on the ice. TB won because they didn't play him more.

Rangers got two solid pieces for a 1st, 4th and Blais(fodder). How’s is that not a great deal for the Rangers.
I would take as a huge win if Dubas pulled this off.

Really like this deal for the Rangers. Mikkola isn't amazing or anything, but they needed to punt Harpur out of their lineup.

We'll see for the Blues. Blais isn't good

Dubas said he wants to improve the defence and add a forward, but wants to see if any marlies can help upgrade the bottom 6, which is why Steeves was recalled.

Which to me sounds like he really wants to improve the top 6 without having to waste assests in the bot 6

It wasn't serious, but Kerfoot definitely has played top 6 LW this season. He's played about 200 minutes 5v5 with Tavares or Matthews
