Feel like Sandin trade is the odd one out. Going from Engvall's cap hit to Schenn's is a difference of $1,400,000, which I think would've been enough to activate Murray. Have to believe that newfound first is being used in another deal.

After losing Engvall it does feel like the Leafs have a strong need for a heavy LW that can give you Engvall levels of value.

Cap space right now is right on the dot of complaint but we also have 9 healthy D so Im sure there's someone there not staying.

Also if that's true I'm very curious what kind of trade it is where Sandin wouldn't have worked as a trade chip but a late first will.
 
So many think Schenn is sitting out but I think he replaces Holl and starts with Rielly

That's a damn good defensive group with some snarl now with the added McCabe and Schenn
The blueline has definitely improved.
