Would Scott Laughton retained + for Sandin, be a good deal for the Leafs

Don’t see Philly having too much interest in Sandin with Provorov, Sanheim, Risto and DeAngelo already there.

If Puljarjavi can't get much in terms of a pick/prospect, I wouldn't expect anything for our eventual cap dump.

Our cap dump is a much better player than Puljujarvi. Puljujarvi is a reclamation project with major upside but is a sub replacement player right now. Pure offense with worse production than all of our pure defensive guys. Carolina probably won't even tender him or

I don't care about the last 3 years, I care about this year and I'd rather have every player I mentioned and more over Kerfoot.

because even if they provided the exact same offense they aren't going to do stupid things like put the team down 5 on 3 in a game 6 like Kerfoot did because Kerfoot is an idiot.

I mean, sure, let's upgrade the roster and move Kerfoot... but the ideas actually have to upgrade the roster, or be feasible... and this they aren't going to do stupid things, and Max Domi in the same sentence is some grade A comedy.

I don't think the majority of teams would want Kerfoot over Puljujarvi if given the choice. I say this as someone that likes Kerfoot a lot. Even if the market is a little better for Kerfoot or there's a couple teams that like him, the return won't be that much better. Puistola is a decent prospect so I'd be fine with that kind of prospect back anyway.

It's possible they don't tender him but it's a nice added bonus. If he turns it around for them, they can retain him a lot easier since he's a RFA.

He's essentially their Filip Hallander.

The east started off significantly better than the west this year and now just keeps separating the gap. There's going to be a number of really great teams out of the playoffs fairly quickly.
