Kerfoot has 7 goals and has spent quite a lot of time in the top 6 this year. Five foot Ten.

40% of his ice time with at least one of the Big 4 this year, although only 20% with 2 of them.

Really not that much for a top 9 forward.

The last line is so silly.

Why did Nashville waive tolvanen then?
Smh

Tolvanen sucked? He was consistently one of the worst forwards in their lineup when he played. Obviously they had seen enough of him over the years to see that he wasn't going to amount to anything there... And found a team where he is able to play more of his style of game.

Not that Jeannot is a bad player or anything, but he is hardly worth crying over. He is physical, but the rest of his game is a massive question mark and for being a "playoff-style" hockey player, he really sucked in the playoffs last year. He's not an upgrade on Kerfoot or anyone else in our lineup except ZAR.

My post had nothing to do with Scoring. Look at the type of Player Tampa always gets to compliment their top star players

Different philosophy with Dubas and Toronto

I hear you. They get those players who have a bit of sandpaper but not heavy weights per se
They can all play a very versatile game

You can put Hagel top 3 or bottom 6 and be a pest type of player
Grinders who has some hands

Jeannot and Jensen have probably been the two most wanted additions by the crowd, if either went to our first round opponent there is going to be grumbling.

I also think it's fair to have concern over Tampa's growing physical advantage.
I see jeannot playing similarly to Varclay goodrow for the Bolts

He had only 6 or 7 pts in each of their cup runs. But he was a big piece for the runs and played an important role

Yeah or that Nash sucked and couldn't find a fit for him?

You're just gna gloss over that poor decision as he sucked rather than the team not finding him a fit? That's on you.

Tampa has such a nasty and tenacious team.

Jeannot, Hagel, Nick Paul, Maroon, Perry, Cirrelli, Cernak, Sergachev, Bogosian, Ian Cole.

Oooof

He's the exact type of player who's gonna finish the game with 10 hits and score 2 goals and the game-winning goal in game 7

Well, they don’t have Jeannot at this point. But even then the “nastiness” of some of those players isn’t that much

Is that the straw that breaks the camel for you? Or are you part of the fire Dubas crowd and looking for any reason?
Please show me where I said what you are implying? You can't.

It wasn’t an argument. It was a conclusion. You are blatantly ignoring the argument because you have no counter to it

Please get a shred of reading comprehension I beg you.
Please make better points and don't shift goalposts when you get called out then blame others for lack of reading comprehension, I beg you.

Noting Acciari has more points this year than Jeannot, cost a fraction of the amount and provides a similar level of physicality. We already traded for a Jeannot type. Not that I’m opposed to more, but don’t forget this.
The true value of a Jeannot type is having a line built around that type of player

For the Bolts they had coleman, goodrow and I think gourde as a line.

Obviously goirde was the most skilled and talented but he also was solid in his own zone and had the ability to play up and down with different line mates

Jeannot with acciari would be a great line and maximize both those guys on ice value im

If acciari could play center then having

Knies - Acciari - Jeannot as our 4th line would be insane and that line would match up with most playoff teams 3rd lines

Lmao you're kidding? Whatever I guess eveyr year we're suuposed to have more "skill" than the other team, so lets see if this playoffs is any dfferent

They dont' need you to be super nasty. They are nasty by committee. That's all they are looking for
Remember last year we said Hagel was overrated. Looking pretty good now

He had over 130 PIM last year. In todays' NHL for a player who can contribute, that's pretty nasty

Still not responding to any of the actual argument in the post.

Just focusing on one aspect that you tried to counter with a horrific comparison.

Enjoy your night crying over a team adding a depth player when we added two players that are better

Here's the difference. Toronto didn't have an Acciari type. Tampa already has multiple Jeannot types, and are still getting another Jeannot.

I love Acciari but we needed Jeannot more than Tampa to go along with Acciari.

Im holding out hope for a Mathew Knies doe

I’m not kidding at all. Hagel and Paul are not nasty players, like at all

Acciari is not even close the Jeannot. Jeannot actually has a fear factor
Tanner can hit, score and fight
He's also 25 years old

Also, just because you have one doesn't mean you can't add another

You really think that Acciarri is better than Jeannot??

Nick Paul was abusing Pierre Engvall all playoffs last year and even challenged him to a fight and engvall turned away. Paul called him "soft" on the ice

That same Paul scored two goals in game 7.

That’s not what he said though. I’m just saying not everyone he listed has a nastiness to their game, and I’m right

No you're not right. I can post Youtube videos here and compare nastiness with their bottom 6 over ours
