Way to shift goalposts.Completely ignoring the stats eh. Smart!
Tolvanen’s numbers were much better than Jeannot’s. It was called a dumb move right away.
Tanner Jeannot is not Tolvanen lmao.
What a ridiculous comparison
You are overvaluing Crouse quite a bit.If Chychrun's cost is Sandin, 1st. and prospect.
Sandin and Matthews
Claytong worth at minimum 1st. and prospect.
Crouse worth at minimum 1st. and prospect.
Chychrun 1st., 1st., prospect
So getting equivalent of at least 4 rounders and 3 prospects.
And the picks are guaranteed, and cost controlled.
Of course I'm not one who is willing to offer Sandin and 2024 1st. rounder and prospect. Others seem quite willing.
Jeannot is so overrated lol.
Want to know why he scored last year? Because he shot 19%. It was a heater. He’s scoring at a more normal rate, and look at his production.
Look at his Team Relative stats and they are all negative, even last year.
Why do you think Nashville is trading him.
Think he'll fit the Bolts well if they can get him for less than 1st.Jeannot is not very good this year. Certainly not enough to move the needle like that.
He is but if the leafs can get it going early and consistently they could end it in 6Tampa has such a nasty and tenacious team.
Jeannot, Hagel, Nick Paul, Maroon, Perry, Cirrelli, Cernak, Sergachev, Bogosian, Ian Cole.
Oooof
He's the exact type of player who's gonna finish the game with 10 hits and score 2 goals and the game-winning goal in game 7
Way to shift goalposts.
Your argument that why Nash is trying to trade him is an asinine one.
I called you out for a poor argument there. I didn't say tolvanen and jeannot are comparable. But go ahead and make ish up.
I doubt it. Guy has had a terrible year offensively, after shooting like 20% last year.Tampa has such a nasty and tenacious team.

Be honest, did you even watch him play?
Almost all of his goals are deflections or within 5 feet of the net
He's a hard nosed player. A lot of players have sophomore jinx.
2 empty netters. about 5-8 are deflections and other 5 goals goal mouth goals
Never knew we had so many petulants on here.
Nah ofc not. Last playoffs he was telling me Mitch was amazing.Be honest, did you even watch him play?

I've been thinking this for years. A young PF type with offensive upside...Dubas never gets those type of players. Can we ever trade for a young big physical guy with decent hands? I love the ROR and Acciari trade but we never end up with a younger guy with the attributes I just mentioned.
If he's on the 4th line playing 10 minutes thats fine, but I'm not giving up more than a 3rd or 4th round pick for that type of player.Don’t get upset with me for stating the obvious. I have PTSD from Kerfoot single handedly losing that Tampa series for us last year with a combination of terrible penalties and a blind drop pass to Palat for a breakaway goal in a huge moment.
Guy works really hard, but he’s small, gets man handled, and is prone to terrible mistakes. Jeannot would be a great fit on our 4th line playing 10 minutes alongside Acciari and ZAR. Not sure how anyone can deny these facts.
Blake Coleman, Barclay Goodrow, Nick Paul, Branden Hagel and now Tanner Jeannot....yeah their GM has a type.
They win CUps though, so whatever he's doing, he's doing it right
No one is playing the victim. Your argument that Nash is trading him doesn't hold merit no matter how you wana spin it.Are you ignoring the rest of my post?
Nashville getting rid of him wasn’t the crux the argument.
It’s hilarious you are ignoring the actual argument, bring up a ridiculous comparison, and now play victim
Those players are very rare and typically don't get traded. Can we ever trade for a young big physical guy with decent hands? I love the ROR and Acciari trade but we never end up with a younger guy with the attributes I just mentioned.

I guess Knies our only hope
I didn't imply anything. You just went banana's and assumed everything and told me to get a grip weirdly enough. The poster I quoted complained that we have Kerfoot instead of trading for Jeannot, and I pointed out that it's absurd to get upset about it when it's not done and there's a lot of time to see how it plays out. We can't just go out and acquire every good tough guy, but I'm the one that's being dismissive lol
My post had nothing to do with Scoring. Look at the type of Player Tampa always gets to compliment their top star playersAll bottom 6 complimentary players. They know their big guns are going to get their chances and possibly neutralize other team's top 6
They count on secondary scoring to come through
No one is playing the victim. Your argument that Nash is trading him doesn't hold merit no matter how you wana spin it.
It's a shit point to make.
We say this every year when other teams get players and they still end up doing better than us.What am I missing here?
Jeannot hasn't done **** this season and he was on an unsustainable shooting heater last season
He also isn't good defensively
Are we pretending he's actually good?
I hope Tampa does get him, they have less assets to get good players that way
