Hmm, so Boston gave up basically the same package for Orlov/Hath that we did for O'Reilly and Acciari.
Not sure which package I prefer. I think I still like O'Reilly more, but that's a nice deal for Boston.

Wow, quite the move for Boston. I really like it for them. Hathaway is a heart and soul player - love him. Orlov is very solid. I'm... wow.

So Bruins give up 1st, 2nd and 3rd and dump Smith for Orlov and Hathaway. Is that better value than what we gave up for RoR and Acciari ??

That's a really good move for Boston.. two players I would have loved to grab but at least we got ROR and Acciari.

Without Muzzin is our D better today than it was going into the playoffs last year ?? A Muzzin replacement is now a must.
We should just go for it and get Ekholm and Jeannot to basically show Boston we mean serious business

I was hoping their big move would be Gavrikov, not Orlov + Hathaway
They went from getting an alright defenseman to a top pairing workhorse
At this point they may as well go all in and go for it. I didn't think they would before the ROR trade but f*** it now.
They need a tough but skilled d man replacement forsure. Top 4 guy. It'd push the other guys to where they should be.
Still hoping somehow Engvall or Kerfoot go in a trade too.

Dubas certainly has no idea how to read the landscape. Thought the team that lost to Montreal and this team are teams that can seriously challenge for the Cup. This is why I was hesitant to add this year unless it was not for rentals.
