Don't think anybody really believes Edmonton is a viable option for Giroux. He wants to stay East.

I really like the Talbot trade who knows how Gus plays down the road but i feel more confident with Talbot in the short -term and with Ottawa going for it we can't depend on a raw goalie, especially more so with Forsberg.

Talbot brings much needed stability.

I'd rather save some $ for the RD or Giroux but that's a good tandem. He expires next year so Soogard might be ready.

We are at about 60M now in real dollars. 16M left to play with. Moving Zaitsev saves 2M and moving Brown if we sign Giroux saves another 4M.
