The leash is going to be very short. With the roster DJ will have at his disposal there won't be any excuses.

This team is probably like 70 mil in actual salary. If Brown and Zaitsev are moved, we could still probably fit in Giroux and a top 4-dman and get a payroll in the late 60 mils.

This is a different team. Training camp going well is a must. November they should be rolling over teams.

It feels like, if we don't get Giroux tomorrow, it won't be because we weren't willing to pony up the cash or the term. It'll be because he really just wanted to go somewhere else.

We're making moves to complete for a playoff spot. Hopefully that's enticing to him.
