If we acquire RoR we move Turris to the wing.

If Spezza gets injured again (let's face it that back will always be a concern) we'll have a much better #1,#2 then what we have now.

IF we're going this route, hypothetically, we need to be sure Turris is OK with this.

No point in unnecessarily angering a guy who for all purposes has been a great fit so far here.

raymond and higgins have no value to us as rentals. If we're going to go down due to our injuries, fine, but we're not paying futures for a stopgap just to try to slow the bleed.

Booth is overpaid right now, but interest could be there. You wouldnt be a fan of the return though, and unless the canucks need to clear the cap space, they probably wouldnt consider it.

With Spezza, Michalek and Karlsson out, I just figured you guys would want a scorer to help get some goals.

And Erik Condra is your 1st line LW right now as well.

Depth never hurts either.

It's a shortened season and things look good for Ottawa going forward: all the injured players should be back at 100% for next year, well maybe not Michalek (I'd trade him).

A trade made for no reason other than improve our fate this season would be a short-sighted move indeed.

We have depth. It's in our lineup right now, replacing our injured stars.

I think the issue here is that most Sens fans have accepted the fact that it's not our year. Most of us don't want to give up a while lot of anything when we know that next year, with a full, healthy roster, should be an excellent rebound year.

*************** just said on twitter that Sens are now the front runners for O'Reailly.

I know he's not well liked, and I don't particularily like him either, but he has been ahead of the curve before.

Either way, I don't think O'Reilly is the right fit. Cost too much in talent to get him, and too much $. We need a top line winger instead.

Having Spezza-Turris-O'Reilly-Smith up the middle, and Anderson-Bishop-Lehner in net are two pretty ****ing good problems to have.

O'Reilly would be an amazing addition to this team, turns us into a 3 line scoring threat.

Oh man, in this draft? I'd run so hard you'd swear you could see an Olympic gold around my neck and a syringe sticking out of my thigh.

Allergies are so inconvenient...

I seriously hope we're not in the running for O'Reilly, really don't have a want/need for him...

Although I imagine Z-bad could work well with Lando...
