Every sign in the world points toward him re-signing and yet you guys still love to spout the trade demand non-sense.

If Connor can some how drag this franchise to a Cup with this goaltending tandem and management this bad, the NHL should honestly give him 2 Cups.

There's no chance Wayne or Mario or Sid or Ovy would be able to win here under these circumstances.

The worst part about this, is that the player with the most goals is the player the coach hates for some unknown reason.

I'll reserve judgement for now. He and the team almost did it last year, and haven't really dialed in their defensive game this year to what they're capable of. Excited to see how they build down the stretch here.

And it took what? A historic performance from McDavid to get that far. Looking at him this year I don't think he has it in his tank to do that again. Think he needs a full summer off to relax and train properly.

Carlo has played bottom pairing 5v5 minutes for 3 years now, struggled in that role providing only slightly above average defence, and absolute bottom percentile offence. I just don't get the appeal with this player.

Seems like a 19 to 20 min per night shutdown dman who plays top PK minutes.

Oilers defensive coverage could certainly use some shutting down.

Don't know anything about Walman so not going to say much.. Hopefully we scouted him recently and did not go with scouting reports when he was putting up big numbers

If Walman flops here seriously just fire everyone in the front office and start over. What's even the point, they've gotten literally everything else wrong this year (not matching Holloway, giving Arvidsson a NMC deal, giving Skinner an NMC deal, giving Henrique a NMC deal, not matching Broberg, etc. etc. etc.). Like why are any of these people even employed.

Maybe they are geniuses and found a diamond in the rough. I don't thing Walman's name was brought up in any of hfoil trade discussions and would be on any trade boards top 30 lists especially at the cost of 1st round pick.
