haha when I say core I mean

Hank Cally Girardi Staal Mac Stepan hags boyle (dubi, artie)

kreider, nash, (to me) stralman, MZA have been added to what that core is.

But when I speak of the core I mean, I mean the homegrown or developed rangers of 2007-2012. To me that was a period of ranger hockey that will always be linked with homegrown rangers.

How is Boyle more homegrown than kreider or mza?

I do. He's disingenuous. Bent over backwards to try to sway opinion on MDZ to Toronto, cause the GM Nonis is his cousin. Trying to tell the world how great and valuable Jake Gardiner is. Really surprised me how blatant he was about it.

Right there, call it an educated guess, but that's direct from Tortorella to Dreger's voicemail. Kelser for Stepan. Yeah, right.

Agree completely. He's the least likable "insider."

First of all, I didnt say a word about Callahan. You're deflecting away from the St. Louis situation with that garbage.

But if you want to get into it, its pretty sickening how Callahan has become a piece of garbage and Martin St. Louis has become a hero this week.

There is a double standard with Callahan, and people are downplaying his contributions to the team. I'll give you that, but it's not everyone.

In no way am I glorifying him.

I'm saying you can't have it both ways.

In my opinion I think both are in the same boat. Both are handcuffing their teams. Both are justified in my opinion to seek the best position for themselves available. But both are being selfish in the process.

Lol who is saying that?

It's been reported that MSL wants a trade and he will only go to the Rangers. So unless Stevie Y decides not to trade him, it seems like he will be a Ranger. The question is, will they take Callahan for him, do we have to add something else, or do we need to get a 3rd team involved. Like the Nash deal, this seems inevitable at this point.

Wonder if 3 way trade:

MSL to Rangers
Cally to Canucks
Kesler to Lightning

Works...

I've never been this excited for a potential acquisition than I have with MSL. He. Is. Too. Good.

Oh i knew that. He was speaking as if there was a deal in place

So the media is saying it's pretty much a done deal that MSL is coming here

Nothing of the sort...

The information is out there, interpret it as you will....

My take, it pretty damn close...Stevie Y is probably going to wait to get all he can in return. We don't want to give up much, hence a 3 team deal could be in the works. Also a possibility Tampa just has to take Cally, pick and prospect. Probably not going to play out to much longer in my opinion, I'm sure these guy's want to get it done without running the risk of someone getting injured...

Just to reiterate, Tampa has lost it's captain... How can you send your team out on the ice knowing that's the case without it weighing on everyone's shoulders? Not good for the team, not good for the Org... Time to mix it up and move on.

At the end of the day it doesn't reflect badly on the Tampa management team, just throw it into damage control and move on. You granted a veteran, well respected player his wish and didn't get fair value, at least you didn't tarnish your organization and self...i.e. Scott Howson..

“@DarrenDreger: Teams may continue to call TBay on St Louis, but, as of now, Lightning are telling teams St Louis is locked on the New York Rangers. #tsn”

Sather is 71...watch him go flat out for it...he won't be here when the time comes to ask Dolan for 12 postdated 2 Million Dollar checks to buy out Brad...the darling he signed . He will keep Girardi and Cally..will add St Louis and a big center and another D by emptying our cookie jar of every cookie we have ... and will plow ahead...it is the Sather way....not much we can really do about it either....:badidea::badidea::badidea:
