Wait so it was supposed to be Girardi for MSL but the Avs upped their offer? I'm not sure how I feel trading our top pairing D anyway for MSL. Love him, but we'd have a HUGE hole in our top 4.

But didn't he flat out say "I was told it was Girardi for MSL, but was told the Avs increased"? Or am I missing something?

It wasn't clear if he was referring to 1 or 2 players being Olympians. It sounds as if we were about to trade Girardi for MSL straight up but the AVs upped their offer so we're back to the drawing board?

EDIT: Which doesn't make sense because Boomer said it was an East coast team correct?

Another reason to hate Boomer and Carton's morning show. They keep it light and fun which I like, but Carton is a clown. Boomer is a guy still trying to keep the spotlight on him. Every show he was to mention how he's an ex-player and "how the business works". Those two are having a dick measuring contest with Francesa to see who can break a story quicker.
