The man has the best track record over the past year with NY. No one else has hit as much stuff as he has, and as accurately. Maybe it is something new, maybe it is something he finally decided to start sharing with us? I don't know, but if this does end up turning out to be absolutely nothing, I assure you his days as a "respected hockey insider" will be over.

Haha i didn't even know about this rumor from the unknown poster your referring too until this morning. Someone said his posts were removed. I deduced it down to St. Louis based on Kreider's chart of Boomer twitter Q/As. (it is by far the most concise way to look at it, its on page one of this thread)

But it was a further 'is this for real' when I heard it in the morning.

Snowblind I agree with you a lot of the time, and I don't want to seem like I'm attacking you or anything. But don't be selective and pass it off like the only reason people are talking about this is bc of this guys post.

I'm just saying that what happened was when the news broke MSL became a big guess for who Boomer was talking about partially because of that poster, it grew to it become the preeminent opinion. It's hard to avoid thinking that it's MSL when it becomes bar none the most popular opinion. I'm sure most people at the end don't even know about the original rumor but it partially started with that.

He doesn't specify, but I'm assuming he's referring to Cally, because it wouldn't make sense that we would target a player from another team that is in the same position as Cally, i.e., an impending UFA who is asking for too much money. And he already said it's not Moulson, Vanek, Gabby, etc.

All I saw was the original tweet, which said nothing about Callahan, and then a bunch of fans speculating that it was Callahan who will be traded. What if this all comes down and the Rangers move Hagelin for St. Louis and then Callahan to San Jose for Boyle?

I'm not really convinced Boomer knows anything to be honest. It wouldn't really take much to guess that after the roster freeze the Rangers will move Callahan. We'll see I guess.
