Can only offer up to 8 years. Assuming that's what you meant by '9'.
The cost to acquire MSL would probably be better used to target a player that isn't pushing 40, if we wanted to go the trade-route.
Same old crap. Rinse. Repeat. Fail. Revamp. Repeat. Refail. When will this franchise ever learn?
Are we a MSL away from being a Cup Contender? No. Then why invest assets that can help tomorrow when we "might" be better suited to compete against the big teams of the league.
Trade Callahan for futures. Or trade assets for players that can help this team for a few years. Love MSL. But this dangerous cycle has gotten stale too many times already and hasn't resulted in anything.
I can't believe how many people here are pro-MSL. Mind-boggling. Shiny new toy syndrome. This franchise is a ****ing embarrassment.
Hope Broduer gets dealt, doesnt play a single game and doesnt make the playoffs.
All of that selfish karma over his career comes around.
true. Might be better off overpaying him in FA if that is the case. We'd have the cap space and raw resources to do it no problem...
I'd taken Vanek for $7M/6Y over Callyhan @ $7M/6Y
Should've said 9x7. AKA 9m/7 yrs
Michael Russo @Russostrib 3m
I'm hearing now Gaborik to #lakings is a done deal. Don't know for what
Yowza. There goes another landing spot for Vanek.
Rather give
Vanek 7y x 8m
than
Cally 6y x 6m
Neither would be best obv
How about....
Ethan Wreck
Evgeny Grachev
Michael Del Zotto
Antoine Lafleur
Bob Sanguinetti
Brodie Dupont
Lauri Korpikoski
Al Montoya
Hugh Jessiman
Ivan Baranka
Lee Falardeau
Jamie Lundmark
Pavel Brendl
Randy Copley
Stefan Cherneski
ESPN reporting that Kesler now willing to go to NY? WHAT?
Gaborik will most likely pick up his production in LA. Good for him, I like the guy a lot.
