I do not want to trade JT Miller.
I'd take him to be Callahan's replacement. I'm pretty sure he can put up 40 points a year.

Take it for what it's worth but a friend at the game said that people are starting to congratulate Sather after he got off a phone call.

This friend has a family member with close ties to a F.O. Member so that's why he's near Sather right now. Once again take it how u want it

IF and I say IF it is a legit report that I'm getting then I would say it has to do with Cally in some way. I say IF

Barring any setbacks. I heard Zuccarello is ahead of schedule and could play Friday night vs Carolina

My top source when asked about NYR trade "tracking down. sounds like st louis could be joining richards on Broadway"
After watching the last two games people are STILL in favor of getting Marty St. Louis?
You think THIS team is winning in the next two years? Especially if they give up the additional pieces required to get him?
****, even if they went on a miracle run they'd still be ****ed for years to come thereafter. I had my one-and-done cup. I want a perpetual contender. DO NOT WANT ST. LOUIS.

All of those generic "rumors" pages on Twitter sure look like clickbait. I don't have any faith in St. Louis happening anymore. TBL never had any reason to just dump him off for prospect goop. I don't think Glen's going to trade JT when we can just try to nag the price down in the summer.
Trade him for Havlat+assets or just a 2nd round pick or something, I don't even care that much. I don't think it's his fault, but keeping him around without signing him is going to be a real emotional drain. I don't think it will be a net benefit for the team in 2014.
They missed two wide open nets against Philly and they lost the goaltending matchup by about as much as they could have today (while Henrik Lundqvist is actually a Good Goalie), so yeah, I don't think this team's terrible because they *lost twice*
I don't think they are terrible. I think they have some very good pieces (including Lundqvist who I defended in the PGT) and are probably in the top half of the league.
But they have real holes - and more importantly, are missing dynamic players at two of the most important positions in the game. It's a work in progress that should be acquiring assets that can help next year and beyond. NOT selling assets in order to prop up an ill-fated one-and-done run.
Whenever I see people adding JT Miller to trade rumors I have to take a deep breath and walk away. Especially when they add him to Callahan. JT Miller will have us all forgetting who Callahan was in a couple seasons IMO. His all around game will be very similar with more offensive flair and more edge.
People need to look at it this way. Signing Cally for $6 million+ a year is literally the worst thing that can happen to this team. That will be a crippling contract.
I think the people advocating for MSL believe he can play for another 3+ years at least like Jagr is doing.
