If they move on from Evans and Dvorak you need a 3rd and 4th center as well.
Also feels much more manageable to have a LD play RD than to have wingers play center.
I assume Hughes will sign a vet C to replace Evans if he leaves and Beck/Kapanen should be ok to replace Dvorak.
Again, I do want Hughes to look at Cs, but I think he should spend more time/assets on RD.
The dream would be getting a minute muncher RD to go with Guhle, a RD to cover for Hutson, a legit 2C and Evans/vet replacement.
I doubt we get all 4, so I think the order should be:
Either RD
Evans/vet replacement (should be relatively easy to do)
2 C
Other RD
Caufield - Suzuki - Slaf
Laine - XXX - Demidov/Newhook/Dach
Heineman - XXX - Demidov/Newhook/Dach
Gallagher - Beck/Kapanen - Anderson
"Pezz tough guy replacement"
Guhle - XXX
Hutson - XXX
Xhekaj - Carrier
Struble
Monty
Dobes
If we get a 2C, I expect one of Dach/Newhook to be gone.
If we get 0-1 RD, Matheson stays. If we get 2, he probably goes.
I wouldn't like it happening, but they could also run Beck and Kapanen as 3C/4C.
Dangle Mailloux, Mesar, Roy, lower end prospects and picks as needed.
No touching Reinbacher, Hage, Demidov, Fowler and Volokhin unless the deal is huge.
Trading out one of Gallagher/Andersen (without paying notable assets) would be great.
