Avs hade made good moves so far but without an improvement at the goaltender position it likely won't be enough.
Allen doesn't change that. In playoffs either Georgiev will do the job or they wont go far. You don't win a cup with Allen in net and Georgiev is not a kid he doesn't need a vet behind him. They would need to add a Linus Ullmark to make a difference.

I get the feeling Dubas will be very disappointed with the Guentzel return because of his outrageous asking price. Reminds me of Dorion asking for the moon for Stone and needing to settle for 2nd+Brannstrom because everybody else found another guy.

He'll also have more suitors in the off-season IF he doesn't move him by Friday.

Next year should be an interesting year: Savard, Armia, Dvorak, Allen, and Evans are in the final year of their deals. So if they're not moved by Friday or off-season, you imagine they will by next TDL.

And they actually created cap room with their moves earlier today.
That's if Dvorak can stay off IR that deep into the season. History says he can't. I'd move him ASAP! At the draft if anybody wants him.

I thought so too but they might eventually have a 3rd line that includes Colton, Nichushkin and Parise. They’ll have the likes of Sean Walker or Josh Manson on their 3rd D pairing. They basically just need a goalie to not let in more than 3 goals a game.
