Can't possibly reply to all the fine fellows here, but I can at least say, if there are no significant moves before TDL, you all owe me a cherry coke.

MY expectations are really low for anymore moves. So if there is a move to be made ill be surprised. Better to have low expectations them have high expections amd be disappointed

trash offer.
You owe a 1st for someone just to take Ceci.
According to PuckPedia's calculator, taking on Ceci is worth between a mid 2nd and a late 2nd, depending on how much you think he's overpaid.
Of course, the Habs wouldn't be obligated to accept that.

Every year I wait and wait. Oh nothing happened at TDL, just wait until off season. Then not much happens, and they say, oh just wait until TDL. Sick of waiting. Do something.

And let's be fair with Money Hands, we got really lucky he managed to play a decent season and stayed healthy.

Outside of Savard, what significant moves are there?
Anderson, Armia, Evans, Allen, etc etc.

I've been naming Kaliyev for a while in this thread. Some like him, some don't want him. I'd take him. Although if I'm giving both Pearson and Armia while also retaining on Armia this year and next year, I'd like more from LA than just Kaliyev. I'm not talking about a 1st rounder, but at least another asset, maybe like a 2nd or 3rd round pick.
Any chance LA offers PLD to Habs????

Do you honestly think teams are lining up for those 4 you mention...................maybe Evans and Armia, but neither would anyone call meaningful.
Getting rid of Bergevin's garbage would take a pretty big green bin.

Per Elliotte Friedman and his 32 Thoughts column..

22. Los Angeles Kings: Their wins over Vancouver and New Jersey were as good as they’ve looked all season. They’ve been very inconsistent, incredibly so. The injured players — Mikey Anderson, Viktor Arvidsson, Carl Grundstrom, Adrian Kempe — are expected back before the end of the regular season, so no LTIR stashing. There is definitely a sense they want to keep Matt Roy, a pending UFA, through the deadline. Arthur Kaliyev, in and out of the lineup, isn’t guaranteed to move. They’ve been looking for some edge, but there’s not a lot of space to do it. Not expected to do anything major.

Now, for sure.

But at the time of the trade Romanov was a hot young commodity.

How hot? He had not proven at that time much more than Struble or Xhekaj hasve to this point.

Matheson has proven a lot but he's shown defensive Warts and is 30. Not a slam dunk we can get a 13th pick for him, i.e. what we got for Romanov.

Sergachev has defensive wartsd too.l

"Neither team accepts" which is sometimes a sign the value is close. I'd accept that trade in a heart beat as a Habs fan. Even if we didn't want Sergachev as a piece of the future blue line, we could flip him for a good forward.

True, we could flip Sergachev in a three team deal to get a good young forward, maybe Zegras.
Are you suggesting Matheson, plus late first plus Struble or another D for Ryan Leonard??

Armia's value, if any, is really hard to get right now.

He might have been put on waivers and started in the AHL but he did have 11 goals, 16 points in 45 games which is a 20 goals pace and he's been a PO players for the Habs.

At full price I see his 2nd years on contract as a negative value
But at 50% salary retained (1.7M), it could be seen as a positive or still a negative depending on the team.

Apparently the Leafs Assistant GM has been attending our games lately.

Savard is the perfect fit for them. Which is why I'd hate to trade him there.

Would you give the Leafs Savard 50% retained for a first?
We're also scouting the Bruins vs Leafs game tonight :naughty:

Gotta think it's Savard, but the Leafs have pretty much 0 cap space. So a roster player is coming back but I've no clue who it might be.

Trades are all jammed up. I think teams are waiting to know who all the sellers will be.

I keep hearing Casey Mittelstadt might be traded. He's RFA. Sabres probably wouldn't want to trade him in division, but I'd certainly be interested in Mittelstadt for the Habs. Not sure if there is a good fit for the Sabres.

Romanov was a hotter commodity because was back to back all-world juniors team.

Where did Ryan Leonard come from?

I don't think they have a 1st or they would of offered it for tanev
