That's a valid point.
But he can always be sent to Laval if a young player steals his spot. Not ideal but he went without a fuss earlier.
And he'd be available for a call up if need be, like it's happening now.
I really don't see a problem here.

The thing is MSL loves his vets. So chances are, if he's back next year, he'll be taking a spot away from a young player, just like Tanner Pearson is doing this year.

SanDisk Ozolinsh got trade from the Canes to the west, or from the west to the Canes. I think the Ducks.

Whichever it is, he was named to the All-star team and then got traded to the other conference. Was still in the all-star game.
