Allen is a fringe starter. He's better than he gets credit for from Fans. One of the best value goalie contracts in the NHL today. He's just as good as Campbell and the Oilers just signed him with term and a much higher contract than Allen.

If the Knights call, the price is two 1st or equivalent. Doubt they do it but that's our price. Don't like it? Call someone else.

The NHLPA most certainly doesn't want that stuff, it is however something they can live with and getting rid of/reducing them would probably require getting a smaller % of revenues so they'll take those restrictions to get a bigger slice of the pie.

But make no mistake that stuff only benefits the owners.

With Lehner gone for the season Vegas has to be desperate to make a move. I’d love to get their #1 rounder unprotected for Allen or Primeau.... with Either & Brossoit it will be tuff to make the playoffs....

I think they might entertain the idea. Allen has been very consistent the past few years and he's on a very good contract.

As for us, we would obviously have to accept the offer if it does indeed happen.
 
With not just sign Holtby?

People need to come back to earth. Allen is not a good goalie. I repeat Jake Allen is not a good goalie.

Just saw Holtby can't play still there's better option than Allen i'm sure.

Oufff would be hard for them to compete for Bedard. They still have Pietro, Theodore and Eichel and Strome. That’s too good to compete with Arizona, Chicago, Philadelphia and Montreal
 
There's only one way to get a 1st for Allen and even then it's a stretch.

It's to work around a conditional 2023 1st round pick (Top 16 protected)
2 conditions: Vegas must make the PO and Allen starts at least 45 games in regular season.

It's safe to say that Vegas will get a better "offer" than that.
