Bedard is like 3-4 season before becoming #1 center
More like 2 top imo. He's the best player from Canada since McDavid.
Bedard is like 3-4 season before becoming #1 center
But it's the 00.0001% of the time that frightens me.i think if it was something goofy--they wouldn't wait this long to announce it
but i'm also wrong 99.9999% of the time
Maybe we should raid the Hurricanes' media people. They sooooooooooooooooooooo need to find new people for their social medias.....
The guy just had a 115 point season. You get him, a legit 2C in PLD, and you’re much more than just a team that “sucks less”You are missing the point completely, Huberdeau only helps suck ass less, not be a winning team. Acquiring him now, will be the equivalent of Bergevin having Price in his prime and wasting it by not having the players to surround him. So yes, I prefer sucking and drafting until you have enough homegrown pieces in the lineup to need to add the players like Huberdeau to make the difference and move the team to the next level. Trading 1st round picks for a player that will be past his prime by the time the rest of the team is in place is a Bergevin type move. Until you know what the missing piece is, #1 defense, or perhaps a goalie, getting him now is like buying expensive custom Mags for your old car, it may make you feel better, but does nothing to improve the car's actual performance.
You don't need to trade anything. He's going to be available as a UFA. It's a free superstar. I had no idea we were so flush with superstars that we could turn down a free one.You are missing the point completely, Huberdeau only helps suck ass less, not be a winning team. So how many other lies has he told the Montreal press?Gorton said a couple of times that Montreal has the most intelligent fan base in the league! And that there's no need for a letter to let everybody know what's going on!
Apparently, he was not mentioning you.
He will be a hab eventuallyHey so where is that PLD trade?!?! Hahah
I was talking to a few of you right after draft and you were CONVINCED it was happening…
“Yea but the agent said he likes Montreal!!!”
“Yea but PLD was at the draft…”
“Yea but HUGHES smiled when asked about dubois…”
Lol give me a break. Classic Hab fans
Probably thought that cryptic tweet yesterday was for dubois haha
As I said 2 weeks ago, wake me up when that happensHe will be a hab eventually
I'd say anytime between now and next summer. As I said 2 weeks ago, wake me up when that happens
Stop putting words in my mouth. Never said to draft a #1 defenseman. What I did say is that before committing assets or cap it is better to know what you actually need, unlike the current situation where you need everything. You don't need to trade anything. He's going to be available as a UFA. It's a free superstar. I had no idea we were so flush with superstars that we could turn down a free one.
If the idea is to draft a #1 dman then you might as well trade Suzuki and Caufield now because they will be past their prime before a drafted #1 dman is ready to make an impact.
Sure, you become Toronto with even worse defense and goaltending, 4 forwards and scrubs to support themThe guy just had a 115 point season. You get him, a legit 2C in PLD, and you’re much more than just a team that “sucks less”
Florida has some of the lowest taxes, beautiful weather, and renowned management in Tampa.Kucherov-Big contract long term
Stamkos-Big contract long term
Cirelli-Big contract long term
Point-Big contract long term
Sergachev-Big contract long term
Hedman-Big contract long term
Vasilevski-Big contract long term
Guess we can have as many as them
Lmfao he’s doneHere's my guess. Since the Habs need a vet RHD this guy is coming home on a 1 year cheap deal.
Not done per any means. He is a good number 4th d. His advanced stats are really good last year. People saying he is done, clearly don't watch other team's games.Lmfao he’s done
Mike has the balls and intelligence to bring Kansas to Montreal. This is a good thing! This is Montreal... Mikey's not in Kansas anymore.

1) The only reason he is not signed yet. Its because he's the 2nd best Dman still unsigned and he will get more once Klingberg will have chose a team and sign a deal. Subban not being signed is not worst than Kadris not being signed. Its not because he sucks, its because they are waiting for 1) biggest fish to sign 2) for a team to create capspace.
2) Even if we wanted to bring him back. Actually we dont even have enough money to sign Dach. We need to create space. Its sure we will trade a player.
3) Plus Hugues AND Gorton both said in different interviews they want to bring in a veteran RHD. A part from Subban who do you think is available that would fit that need? There is only 3 in the UFA market : a) 37 yo Boychuk b) 35yo Stralman c) Subban. The only way we could have another RHD is through trade, lets say Hoffman (4.5M$) vs a dman making 2.5M$ and less, cause we need at least 2m$ to sign Dach. Or Gallagher vs a bad dman with 4.5-5M$ contract.
How is it anything like Toronto? You’re not spending 80% of your cap on 4 players that can’t deliver. If anything it’s the opposite of what Toronto did. They waited too long to try and compete rather than go for it when Matthews and Marner were on ELCs.Sure, you become Toronto with even worse defense and goaltending, 4 forwards and scrubs to support them

Way too much.Dvorak + Anderson + 1st pick FLA 2023 vs Dubois.
Literally? Will PK be willing to accept the Wideman type role? Here's my guess. Since the Habs need a vet RHD this guy is coming home on a 1 year cheap deal.
