I'm speaking to the next 8 weeks which was the minimum period of time Perfetti was going to be injured. That likely means he misses some or all of the first round of the playoffs.

If its JVR, I wonder is Stanley goes back the other way? That would make Stanley worth approx a 3rd rd pick.

Well if Calgary does trade Lindholm for mostly picks and prospects, the good news is the Jets are almost guaranteed to make the playoffs by default..almost.

Boeser = some interest.

JVR = zero interest. We should be able to have one of the 4th-line guys stand by the net waiting for those "chances in tight," or in everyday hockey language, "those pucks that bounce in off yer arse."

Garrett listed off many of the most likely trade candidates on the hohltruth earlier this week. Of the 21 players who had a 50% or better fit in Winnipeg , only two had a NTC, Jake McCab & Erik Karlsson.

Of those remaining, the top forward candidates are Schmaltz, Leblanc, Leivo & Reinhart. On defence it's Benning, Bear & Durzi.

We won’t get players without term to win it .

Will the jets ever go all in ? Like actually balls to the wall try and win it .

Or will there always be a reason why we just modestly grab a small improvement or two because of so many reasons ?

LaBanc is interesting. Scoring has def dropped since 2018-19, seems to be underperforming his contract pretty handily this year, but might be a useful add.

I can see the Jets preferring Boeser is they can snag him and fit him in though.

At this point I don't think Chevy knows which way it will go. Main reason he is being real careful with his 1st round picks and top prospects.

Stanley and Schmidt for Erik Karlsson (50% retained). I’ll tweet Karlsson and let him know he’ll like it here so he should waive his NMC. I’ll buy Grier a pint at The King’s Head next time he’s in town if he agrees to that
