Plus he is bad defensive forward so he will fit in nicely with this core.

Niederreiter isn't to replace Perfetti this season, it's to punch up the depth leading into the playoffs when Perfetti could theoretically be back, and then play in the lineup next year.
I'm speaking to the next 8 weeks which was the minimum period of time Perfetti was going to be injured. That likely means he misses some or all of the first round of the playoffs.

Yum, I love toast. Cinnamon raisin toast with melted butter is to die for. If Chevy becomes toast, I hope it’s that kind of toast.

Does eating him become cannibalism at that point? Is he still considered human? Wouldn’t it be better to not let that toast go to waste? I have so many questions.
I'd need some icing sugar.

Exactly, yet you were complaining.

PS. None of those that I listed had an NTC or NMC.
I said:

"A lot of people also overlook the fact that many players, who would be good additions to our team and easily within Chevy's algorithm, also have clauses that allow them to refuse any trade to Winnipeg."

If that sounds to you like someone complaining then I have nothing more to say to you.

Ironically where many had him going in the first place

How would people feel about both JVR and Boeser

Boeser = some interest.

JVR = zero interest. We should be able to have one of the 4th-line guys stand by the net waiting for those "chances in tight," or in everyday hockey language, "those pucks that bounce in off yer arse."

Garrett listed off many of the most likely trade candidates on the hohltruth earlier this week. Of the 21 players who had a 50% or better fit in Winnipeg , only two had a NTC, Jake McCab & Erik Karlsson.

Of those remaining, the top forward candidates are Schmaltz, Leblanc, Leivo & Reinhart. On defence it's Benning, Bear & Durzi.

I wouldn't be trading picks either if we're going for a rebuild after next season (Or late next season)

So we won’t trade picks to try and win it

We won’t get players without term to win it .

Will the jets ever go all in ? Like actually balls to the wall try and win it .

Or will there always be a reason why we just modestly grab a small improvement or two because of so many reasons ?

LaBanc is interesting. Scoring has def dropped since 2018-19, seems to be underperforming his contract pretty handily this year, but might be a useful add.

I can see the Jets preferring Boeser is they can snag him and fit him in though.

Stanley and Schmidt for Erik Karlsson (50% retained). I’ll tweet Karlsson and let him know he’ll like it here so he should waive his NMC. I’ll buy Grier a pint at The King’s Head next time he’s in town if he agrees to that
