I'll be happy with this deadline if they keep both Kempe and Mersch, if they had to lose one of those 2 I hope they lose Mersch. I think he's a 3rd liner with grit at best and Kempe has top 6 potential, I rather have that even if he has more bust potential.

Trading Forbort in a minor deal for a pick he uses for another trade would make sense. I have no attachment whatsoever for Forbort, Gravel looked better IMO. Forbort looks like a big tall stiff.

If they get Teddy Purcell, it better be something like just Nolan and a late pick but you know someone else will give up a 3rd for him. I think Clifford will eventually get traded and with Mersch coming up that makes sense, but I doubt that happens until the summer. Nolan will get moved too but idk why anyone would want Nolan, he's just a low hockey IQ player, dumb penalties all day.
