Well I voted AL IN a while back and Dubie has given us 4 lines now .. excellent trade folks .. I still think we need a top 4D to give us a chance to get through atlantic .. i know this would affect team next year but I don't care about next year .. to me lets go for it this year .. Knies 2024 1st rounder Sandin and 2025 3rd rounder plus take Holl back to make CAP work for Jakob C .. then we got Jacob C Brodie Gio and Lily as 4 reliable D in their own end .. have Rielly for PP and get him some ice with Timmer on 3rd pair

As much as I’d love Crouse on this roster, the Leafs can’t afford to trade for a player making 4+ million on a multi year deal if they intend to re-sign Bunting and O’Reilly.

If Brown didn’t get injured, he would have been a perfect fit. Other names that could work are a retained Vatrano or Hartman if Minny is willing to part with him.

I think one of the requirements of that stupid 'Quiz' (which isn't a quiz at all) is that each person pick a different answer, so they can show different highlights.

I can't understand why they, or anyone else, would even consider him.

I'd take Crouse over Bunting but that's me.

Based on chatter and the fact that the Leafs haven't said anything about being finished, I'd say the safer bet is there's one more trade still to come.

Id wager they're going to bring in another Acciari-type third liner. Basically a guy who probably won't cost another blue chip asset but helps round out the bottom six more. could potentially be a D man, but I think that market is a bit too tight, more forward options available

One of Engvall or Kerfoot goes out the door to balance salary.
 
I think they will check in all the top 4 D and grab the best D available that doesn’t cost Knies. Not expecting a forward or goalie.

Part of me thinks Dubas will go all in but I don't know what that looks like at this point with our draft capital and cap situation.
 
With Murray being unreliable, I wonder if they are looking to upgrade Samsonov?

Any obvious pending UFA upgrades out there?
 
Although I'm not really sure why you want to upgrade on Samsonov, granted his last couple games haven't been great but he also had the shits VS Chicago and was played anyone for some reason that I will never understand.

And if you have ever had the shits and I'm sure you have you know he probably wasn't fully recovered by Tuesday.

Same reason you upgrade any player, to give yourself the best chance to win.

If he's the 3rd Goalie then he isn't an upgrade on Samsonov.

You feel Korpisolio is an upgrade on Samsonov(post 189) but should be the 3rd Goalie(post 194) because Samsonov doesn't need upgrading (post 196).

Clear as mud.

He pretty much thinks Murray is not reliable and wants insurance should Sammy go down and I'll add or goes off a cliff like he did last year as a Capital.

At least that is what I think but I think Dubas should lie in the goaltending bed he made and not spend any further assets on a goalie.
