What's the cut-off for GP you are using?

Saros is 11th, and Ullmark is 6th with no filter.

I did 30 games as that is a #1 goalie most likely since there are about 60 games played.

Samsonov is in the same group as Saros right now. Ullmark is by himself.

The confusion comes because Mess stated that he was showing the top 5 in GSAx per 60, but he was actually showing the top 5 in total GSAx.
In total GSAx, Ullmark is #1, Saros is #3, Vasilevsky is #5, and Samsonov is #14.
In GSAx per 60 (15+ GP), Ullmark is #1, Saros is #4, Vasilevsky is #8, and Samsonov is #12.
While Vasilevsky has a much longer history at this level, and beyond, this season by GSAx per 60, Vasilevsky is saving about 1 extra goal every 7 games compared to Samsonov.
Saros is one of the best goalies in the world, but Samsonov is also having a very good season, and:
1. Even the best goalies have significant fluctuations in 4-7 game samples. You're not guaranteeing anything.
2. Saros was just reported to be untouchable, so not an option anyway.
Though it should be noted that Samsonov and Saros have the exact same SV%, so I'm glad we have an acknowledgement from a certain someone that SV% can be misleading.

Other than Knies what chips do the Leafs even have left? I don't see Robertson or Niemela as more than sweetener .

Dubas has precious little to trade. I don't see Robertson or Niemela getting much and doubt he will move Knies unless it's an overthetop acquisition . I think he tied himself to ROR but needs a physical dman to replace Muzzin.

I'm confused. You don't add ROR but not fix that Muzzin hole. This defense isn't better than last years and a good defensemen can mean .05 less goals per game in the playoffs. What can Toronto even afford to add that even makes a difference? I don't think Schenn gets us there and the Canucks overvalue him. He is a 6 defman. He may be forced to trade Knies to get anything significant.

What I don’t want to see is Tanner Jeannot on Tampa.

Hoping Dubas is on the other end with Poile confirming if the rumour is true; And if true, outbidding the Lightning.

Tb just added Jeanott and will be too tough for Toronto unless we make some additions.
Toronto was better before they added ROR and Acciari without mortgaging their entire future by paying double what the Leafs did for a guy who has 5 goals.

I have bad news for you. However, the price they paid is beyond stupid so we never had a chance at that price.

Dubas scorched earth and to be frank, no closer. Every team in the East is upgrading.

No thanks.

They paid more for Jeannot than we did for RoR @ 25% and Acciari combined.

I’d offer a crazy package for Tom Wilson (retained). Highly doubt Caps trade him but who knows.

Come playoff time:

Bunting-Matthews-Marner
Jarnkrok-Tavares-Nylander
Knies-O’Reilly-Wilson
ZAR(?)-Kampf-Acciari

They are absolutely going to bring in a D man, and hopefully another depth forward too.

I have said it before you are VERY likely to play Tampa, you might want 3 scoring lines.

And even IF Boston collapsed and Toronto got hot and passed them You'd still be playing Boston or Tampa in round 2 so you might want 3 scoring lines regardless.

Kadri, MacKinnon, Landeskog, Manson, Compher (great forechecker) all play a heavier game than anyone on the Leafs (before the ROR trade). You got to be able to lean on other teams in the playoffs. Our roster is about as buttery soft as a roster comes and don't get me started on our D, Lilly is our most physical defender, our #6 D-man is our most physical D. Soft, soft, soft, soft. A team does not have to be monolithic, you can be a high possession team AND a heavy team at the same time. You can't be just a heavy team or just a high possession team. Colorado and TB were both, very balanced rosters.
We are maketh still move moves. Acciari is not enough vs jeannot. Jeannot is a beast, even though he aint scoring. We need one more commando. Schenn, lauhgton would eat ears and noses like tyson did sire

I was in on out bidding Tampa before the return was known. Agree that this was crazy. Now every GM with assets will want 5 picks and a prospect.

Apparantly he has picks for the next 5 years if need be. I guess the NHL is now like the NBA and he could trade a 25 or 26 first round pick.
