I just checked the 2021 & 2022 trade deadline dates and there was only 1 GDT on those dates.
Care to provide an example?

I'm not going to go back pages to search the forum for an example. I've changed the prefix so we don't have two GDTs on the board active at the same time, but the activity on the GDT you created is going to be the same whether the prefix on here was GDT or not.

For sure you'd have to pay the Yotes to take Pionk. His actual salary rises to $7.5 M next season. Kind of undermines the getting to the cap floor with $28 M worth of LTIR cap space.

I’m still comfortable dealing the 1st for Schmaltz, but considering he has term, I’d sell the 2025 2nd in this case since he’d still be under contract when the pick came. Dealing 2025 picks for pure rentals is nuts though.

Thinking Chevy is trying to get JVR, but he’ll end up in Vegas.

Chevy will do something underwhelming like Picking up Mantha with retention for a middling pick or Athanasiou.

If big Stan gets dealt somewhere then Chevy will add someone like Bortuzzo to replace the depth.

He isn't a terrible defenseman. Sometimes when a season goes sidewise fanbases need scape goats. Last season some around here were calling Morrissey a terrible defenseman that wasn't worth his salary.
