My bad, missed that in your postOK but the 2nd became Brunicke

Just something on my mind. Brunicke is cool and all, but I mean, we've seen lots of can't fail prospects fail miserably. We just got paid to give one of them away actually.Brunicke
Depends on the context. When I was in high school trying to get into Carnegie Mellon, a B- / C+ was a terrible grade! How is a B- / C+ not a good ranking?
This is not a plan, this is sheer insanity. Sid will be nearly 39 when next year playoffs come and the kind of roster we are likely to boast would be impossible to be carried to glory even by prime Crosby. If the powers that be want to keep some decent players around so Crosby won't feel too frustrated, that's one thing. If they think they have a real shot at anything other than the draft lottery any time soon.... they are being delusional, pure and simple. The Org says they're going to make one more go at it with Sid, and I support that plan
Yeah it's way too early to be painting Brunicke as "destined" to be a part of the Penguins future. He looks like a great prospect about on par with McGroarty, that's great. Still a ton left to be seen with him.
Koivunen is the same way. Considering how badly guys like Puustinen and Bemstrom have done in the NHL after playing really well in the AHL, I think people should be cautious with Koivunen. It's totally possible that he could dominate the AHL but not have the speed of play to succeed in the NHL.
Rust & Rakell are both 30 something road blocks for a team that should be doing everything in their power to get younger, stronger and faster in a hurry. Now I gotta watch Kyle do his little smirk, push his glasses up, and talk about how the bar was set purposely high on Rakell and they didn't feel anyone met the ask, so they didn't feel obligated to move a 32 year old having his best season ever because he's shooting at like 150% his normal success rate.
Whatever, I got a nice bowl of penne and pesto here.
This is the year that that idiot Scandi meatbag with the traps makes it, I swear.Yeah I loved Brunicke at training camp and preseason but it was NHL training camp... one of them. Pump the breaks. I remember when Biz came in and blew everyone's mind as an 18 year old, too.
Call it biased, but I feel like Dubas would have done that had it been on the table. Hell, I think he would have taken less on the draft pick if he could have pulled off Clarke.
I think the most likely scenario is that the Penguins were getting great offers in terms of draft picks, possibly even 2 1sts in value, but Dubas wanted a top prospect or young player to justify trading Rakell.
Boston moved Brad Marchand, a franchise icon, for the same price as Anthony Beauvillier.
Come on, man.
This is the year that that idiot Scandi meatbag with the traps makes it, I swear.
I love having tons of really unlikable zero-charisma dweebs in the org. It is the best.

A 25 yr old version of accari
I vaguely remember his name sounded like if Bjork had a line of vanity sodas.I think he flexed too hard at a discothèque and exploded his head or something so I wouldn't worry
I don't even remember his name, but you know, him. It's his time to shine or whatever.
Lol U of C general honors used to be a 3.0 GPA. CMU was the only place that came close to how miserable we were.Depends on the context. When I was in high school trying to get into Carnegie Mellon, a B- / C+ was a terrible grade!
But once I was actually at CMU, and taking classes alongside a dozen valedictorians? Yeah, that grade was at least decent, albeit not really "good".![]()
