I just don't think the karma/irony of this situation should be lost on us - just yesterday Pens fans were shitting on the Canes because they were "used to winning cups" (Yeah, having 2/3 of the best players of the generation makes that kind of stuff happen) and the Hurricanes recent success has only been getting swept in the conference finals, and now their chances of getting a 1st round pick rely on that same team getting to the Stanley Cup finals.

Yea now that Hoglander looks to be finally getting a shot in the top 6, a guy like Zucker at the right price, say a 4th with another 4th for retention might be ok. I think they may look for someone with some jam to their game too, maybe Blais?
