Someone mentioned Aube-Kubel. He might be a good bottom-six option for cheap. I don’t see Gadjo playing regularly in the playoffs (if at all) but I also don’t see us sitting Cousins or Lomby.

Regardless of how the league views Cuzzy, I think Paul and the team love him.

Yeah they definitely do. I think he does some really stupid things sometimes, but he's also a big part of what we do. Him with Stenlund and Lombo would be the ideal 4th line in the playoffs.

Agree on that 4th line.

It’s so competitive in playoffs that it can easily be one player addition that makes the difference because all the roles gel. We need a skilled third line guy to get Lundy and Luo to contribute. Last time it was Reino… now who could it be? If somehow Samo caught fire then we would have options to move people around… but more likely it needs to be a trade for one of those guys on the list.

Rangers are apparently taking calls on Kaapo Kakko.

I'm sure the price would be high but man would I love to see him with the Panthers as a reclamation project. Rangers are notorious for poorly handling their young players, I think the Finnish connection would do him some good and he'd be a strong candidate as another player who "finds his career" in Florida.

Barkov had 11 assists, Duke had 7. Plus Barkov had a masterful defensive performance in the playoffs, Duke wasn't playing anywhere near that level of two-way hockey .
