There really was nothing significant available at this year's deadline. Look at the numbers out there of players moved, these are guys with 30 something points.

Versteeg has been as productive as guys like Ladd and Staal and look at what those exchanges involved.

Thankful that no significant assets were moved by Lombardi for a desperation move. He learned from last year's mistake.

This summer he needs to be proactive in getting rid of some bodies in exchange for picks and utilize the available cap space to land a #3-4 dman in the off-season.

We do have bigger problems. Pirri for a 6th is just a good move, just like Lovejoy for Despres. Low risk, high reward. Never said he'd put the Ducks over the top, don't put words in my mouth.

those are my words, not saying you've said that specifically - just in general it seems like people are really overthinking depth moves on other teams when the Kings have made equally solid moves in this (lackluster) deadline. I just don't think it's worth rehashing that much, Pirri would never see the light of day under Sutter anyways, and like I said previously, if we lose to the Ducks or Hawks, it's sure as **** not going to be because of guys like Pirri/Weise etc. This was a weak deadline, I don't think there's a whole lot all the way around worth getting too frazzled over. DL made the moves that needed to be made in order to keep pace with everyone else thus far, no team got a real "gamebreaker" in my eyes.

Ducks not improving their blueline, which I thought would be a higher priority for them.

They're young but set I believe, with Vatanen, Lindholm, Manson, Fowler, and Despres with the potential. I'm sure they've learned a few things from their last playoff experiences.

Is Forbort really dealt?

Forbort has not been dealt. Just some loser on the internet trying to get attention.
