Carter is a guy I’ve thought would be a good get for awhile. A lot more in the tank than Marleau had last year, and Cup experience never hurts.

I thought he said last year it was LA or retirement...guess he changed his mind.

Carter seems like a flashy JR move that backfired
He's better than Marleau, but I think it's kind of along the same lines. Why? Doesn't seem to really do much of anything.

Unless he's dirt cheap or we're unloading a guy like Petts (with another depth blueliner in the works tomorrow) I don't see the reasoning behind adding Carter.

Funny that certain posters get all bent out of shape when people talk about certain targets because they are unrealistic and then stuff like this comes out. Carter fits absolutely nothing that Hextall and Burke talked about lol

well, he’s big lol...and he plays center...

LA would have to retain big time ...he’s signed next year which isn’t ideal
