Marleau managed to make me believe everything Roenick has said about him. Which is incredible because I think Roenick is an idiot.
Seeing Marleau take the ice last like he was some kind of leader is an all time cringe mark in this team’s history.
What did he say about him?
What rumors? He's a 4th line player, he would probably be the first one to tell you.
Saw him play in Montreal, he's not going to take a shift off, very hard working player but I agree with Hextall if the rumors are true, not overpaying for him
Stop.Guarantee we hear something about Malkin set back tomorrow.
Crosby, McCann, Blueger. I guess Malkin is out until the end of the season.
We're getting Carter? WTF?
Seems like a done deal. Fingers crossed this isn't some "what the f*** were you thinking" trade.

Lmaooo. Common sense! That can’t be true...he doesn’t fit what Hextall and Burke said about wanting to add sandpaper...this is super unrealistic and can’t happen
He will do for the time being. Anyway welcome to Pittsburgh! i'll give him a look before I get angry at the trade unless we gave up a lot.I don’t think seriously of McCann at center except for short stints in case of injury

Why do you guess that? I've been saying for a few weeks I bet they go for a C/W because (a) they can slide McCann to L2 LW without screwing over Zucker's line and (b) it gives them another option to slide to L2 LW if McCann doesn't work like before at L2 LW (McCann goes to L3 C).
I mean, THINK about it . . . if Geno were done, Hextall wouldn't be shopping for a C. He'd ride the guys he has and hope for some luck,
EDIT: If you want to say 'insurance in case Geno's recovery takes an extra week', THAT I'd get, but 'he's done so let's get Jeff Carter' can't even be rationalized.
