The only thing JT is fighting is a defender for the puck and more often than not winning that battle night in and outI know it's weird isn't it
JT looking like he's out there by himself some nights, sometimes fighting the puck
Nylander hanging around watching the play half the time with an occasional dash for a puck but never wanting it if an opponents there first
but yet you look at the last 10 and say wtf?
Age old debate with this fan base. Yes, he's talented, but he is also this...which one wins out for you? Some go talent. Some go drive. He's so many things at so many times. A true chameleon of a player.

I'd like the deal. The fact I like the deal is why I don't see why Winnipeg would lol we make the deal and it better fits a need for us style wise in our top 6, and if we lose him in free ageny...we essentially freed up the Kerfoot contract going into next year. Win-Win for us. Not sure Kerfoot is everything Winnipeg dreams of as an asset returnCopp is a ufa Kerfoot has a year left, he can play this season and help them push for a final spot then if it doesn’t work trade him in the off season
True, but that 2nd could buy a lot more in the off-season. This is the sort of short-term move that makes them more likely to win a series, but less likely to win a cup.To be fair, that Pacific division isn't great and Calgary has had similar playoff woes as the Leafs.
Road to the conference finals is wide open from the Pacific side.
In that clip he's basically a bull fighter saying "ole'" with the puck. Go ahead, Nashville. Have it. I don't want it because it means contact. Now, in fairness, he's at the end of his shift, but he willingly gave up potential possession in his own zone. That is pitiful. We should have just drafted nick Ritchie instead, he would have brought that toughness we need. Haahahahah. How many skilled players in the league that actually invite contact? It's a very low number.
yeah and when he wins the battle only one of his wingers is in a position to receive a pass most of the timeThe only thing JT is fighting is a defender for the puck and more often than not winning that battle night in and out
I’d rather just add copp for a rental price then trade Kerfoot my self in the off-season to recoup assets.I'd like the deal. To be fair the playoff Nylander was leaving it all on the ice. We didn’t get that version of the Nylander that we’ve seen lately. I’m optimistic that the playoff Nylander will show up in the playoffs.Funny, entire fan base was screaming to just leave Nylander out for the entire 3rd of game 7
*out as in out on the ice, not sitting out lol
I’m not arguing that they have not been in sync as much as desired, in fact I’ve been clamouring to split them up and make two 2nd lines making the kampf trio the fourth.yeah and when he wins the battle only one of his wingers is in a position to receive a pass most of the time
Matthieu SchneiderIs there a player in sports that has been traded for more?
Picking one play and saying he avoids at all costs is also pitiful. I don't get the obsession with some of this fanbase with slating our players, hoping they're traded even though they're very good. Nylander isn't perfect but he's one of our best players and is a constant threat when on the ice. His job is to win on the scoreboard not in physicality.how many players totally avoid it seemingly at all costs
I still have horrible memories of the end of Game 7 against Boston the second time. Where the Leafs pulled the goalie and Nylander, with no one behind him, handed the puck to the Boston forechecker and then spun away. It gave me Todd Gill flashbacks...In that clip he's basically a bull fighter saying "ole'" with the puck. Go ahead, Nashville. Have it. I don't want it because it means contact.
