One thing I have noticed a lot with PLD is that when he plays physical he is so much more effective and engaged with and without the puck. Tonight he had a goal, 3 hits, and perhaps his best shift of the year. Maybe, we can see more big plays in big moments from him.
He has the size, and skill...............but rarely the drive.
It's weird.............he is seen as a quitter by many.
Full on sook at times.................it's too bad.
But that contract may just be the worst contract in the league for value. He needs to become a PPG player, and his career avg is around 50-55 pts and this year will drag that down even further.

I remember when jersey was the best team in October, seems like years ago.
I watched one of their game 2 weeks ago and something weird happened. Hughes was turning around waiting for his team to be ready and organize on the PP and it lasted for a while. It looks like there's a big coaching problem there honestly.

Can't wait to hear about how we're waiting for the off season just to hear that we're waiting for the next TDL come September.

Bruins, Bolts down bad
What about the Leafs? Flyers? Red Wings?

I gess Florida and NYR with Tarasenko and Wennberg helped their 3rd lines but it's still very light as additions.

The winners so far are Carolina-Winnipeg-Colorado-Vegas and Dallas

HM to Edmonton

I wish GMs were the ones posting on twitter instead of the ‘insiders’

“DOOBZ thinks he got a haul from us but don’t even get our best prospects lol “

“TRELIVING JUST OFFERED me A 7th for Allen wtf lol”
"Guys people expect me to pay good assets for their centers what the hell is wrong with them. Linda!!! Where is our playstation?"

Savard to Edmonton makes the most sense from my vantage point. Holland is trying to make the Oil deeper and tougher to play against, and by adding a hard nosed, right hand shot veteran (and cup winner), for the war that will be fought to win the western conference, is a no brainer move.

If he could squeeze the Oilers for Holloway and their 1st in 2026 and send back Savard with 50 percent retained and a depth piece like Jake Evans, it would be great.
