Habs got rid of useless Desharnais and a 6th and brought in Ott and Davidson. How could you complain about that? Ott is a way better 13th forward than Wee Man.

Vrbata would be a great addition to the Habs. We need secondary scoring people. He has 50 pts this season on the horrific COYOTES team.

To be honest, i would grade the day just as successful if we can add 2 lesser top 6 players, instead of 1 great top 6 player.

If he could he would trade Galchenyuk for Kesler , Radulov for Lucic , Beaulieu for Bieska , paciorrety for Parise , lekonen for Cliffort , ect.

This is such a silly comment. You literally just imagine, out of whole cloth, the type of things that you assume Bergevin would do, then get angry at him over stuff that you assumed. You're bringing up certain possibilities and then holding Bergevin accountable for something you are bringing to the table. It's totally understandable to be mad at him for moves he has made in the past if you disagree with them, but to be mad at him for what he "would" do "if he could"? Come on!

I`m going to say he is going to go for a 2nd pick, and a conditional 3rd or something of the sort. Unless De La Rose is part of the trade instead of that conditional pick.

I'm not suggesting to trade Gallagher for Vrbata, but if I'm Bergevin I'm putting him on the market just to see what's out there. 2 consecutive seasons with a serious injury, and we just signed Shaw 6 years which will do the same work as Gallagher. Again depending on the return I'd look into moving him.

Could Vrbata or Shaw be moved to LW? Lehkonen and Byron have not exactly been lighting it up for us lately. Neither has Gallagher mind you but I think he should at least stay in the top 9.

You have to think though, he is in a contract year and will possibly getting his last contract in this offseason. Hes probably going to be playing his butt off to get a new contract this summer from a team. I would add him.

The issue for me is, we have needed a top C for years/decades and now there is one potentially available.
Fill the damn spot so we can focus elsewhere, finally.
