Coburn was always going to get lot; part of the reason it made no sense to think Calgary was going to acquire him. Ditto for all the other players some fans think the Flames will be on, e.g. Kessel, Sharp, etc.

Also kind of amusing to see what Petry went for given Oilers fans expectations, particularly in light of Matheson's speculating top prospects.

Connolly went for a lot more expected.

Also says that the future is his goal, not trading for rentals, only make a hockey move, would trade for an overpriced player if it made sense as a sweetener. Nothing is imminent, yet. basic stuff.

Coburn is really good. I'm not saying he's Myers good, but he's going to look a whole lot better playing with good players.

That was a lot for Connolly as well. But I like it for the B's. Connollly is not a rental, he has upside still and he's a cost controlled asset which important for a team like Boston.
