Sharks are pretty weak on RW except for Toffoli who is 34. Graf doesn't seem like someone they would have any interest in moving. If they want to snag a cheap talewnted player from a low profit market there has to be kind of a glut, like Anaheims defense corps.

Depends on how they view Smith moving forward. If he's RW than they have Smith, Toffoli, Sherwood and Dellandrea.

Wonder what we'd have to add to Rielly for Colin graf from the sharks.

The bigger question being, why do they want to move Graf at all? 23 year old, RW, who just had a breakout season... It's seems improbable that they'd move him at all. The only reason that they would even consider it, is if he's asking for WAY too much $.

Maybe we'd have to add the Colorado 1st.

Is it true that rielly said no to waiving his ntc?
Not exactly. Lebrun has reported that Rielly has given the Leafs a list of teams he would waive for, but he has not yet waived because there is no proposed trade in place. To the best of my knowledge, there are no credible reports that he has "refused" to waive, just people misinterpreting what the actual situation is.

Id add that Colorado 1st in a heartbeat to add him.

Mckenna - Matthews - Knies
Cowan - Tavares - Nylander
Tolvonen - Jenner - McMann
Joshua - Quillan - Lorentz

XXX - Raddysh
McCabe - OEL
Andrea - Tanev

Stolarz
Hidelby

Extra; Villeneuve
Domi - LTIR

We need a #2-3 Dman for the top pairng Guy who can play 20+ mins, play PP2 and PK1, give 25 points or so and move the puck well while being physical enough in clearing the crease

If you do Markstrom + Hamilton for Stolarz then can run:

Mckenna - Matthews - Knies
Cowan - Tavares - Nylander
Tolvonen - Jenner - McMann
Joshua - Quillan - Lorentz

Raddysh - Hamilton
McCabe - OEL
Andrea - Tanev

Hidelby
markstrom

Extra; Villeneuve
Domi - LTIR

McMann - 5M x 6
Tolvonen - 4M x 4
Jenner - 5M x 3

Gavrikov.
I’ve loved that option since someone said it here.

What do recent moves mean for new outlook in Toronto?

TSN

June 16, 2026

Joseph Woll was primed to be the go-to goalie in Toronto, so how did he become expendable and where does that leave the Maple Leafs goalie situation moving forward? Former Leafs GM Brad Treliving put a premium on bigger defencemen. John Chayka's first move sees a 5-foot-9 Emil Andrae brought in, and a 6-foot-4 Simon Benoit moved out. What does this say about the future of Toronto's blue line? TSN's Mark Masters has more.

If Knies is once again on the market, that tells you it's being driven by something off ice. Two mgmt teams coming to the same conclusion. Just makes no sense. There is more going on here than any of us know.

It's more so he has zero trade restrictions and is a hot in demand asset and plays a position that the team has good depth on in the top 9 (especially after taking Mackenna).

I personally don't want to trade him, but I'm not surprised his name has popped up in rumors

Don’t dump Joshua just to dump him. He’ll be a solid bottom 6er (ideally 4th liner) next season, hopefully it’s for us.

I really do think (and hope) the plan is Raddysh, Tampa can get Carlson as a replacement. If Raddysh re-signs or goes elsewhere we can target Carlson.

Bobrovsky is an interesting one as well. If he wants to play here on a 2-3 year deal we can move Stolarz and run Bob as #1 with Hildeby & AA as the young goalies of the future.

Up front I really think it’s Tuch or bust for top 6 solution. I can also see us trying for Jenner in the bottom 6 but someone will overpay him as a 2C, even though he’s more of a winger at this point.

3rd rounder from the Woll trade to Tampa for a signed 8 year Darren Raddysh.
Its a 7 year max now isn't it? I think for a 30 year old I am good with max 6 but that would at least remove the competition and the potential stupid offer that could mess with the player/agent expectations.

That comes into effect on September 16th, 2026.

Im pretty sure they said on overdrive today his agent already received a few teams minimum he'd be willing to go to.

Also that list could expand. Sounds like writing is on the wall and Mo is willing to do that. One team mentioned was San Hose. They need a bunch of guys.

Mike Johnson said maybe you do a big contract for big contract trade that fits needs to a new place... like Nurse... doubt that happens... or you're looking at a 3rd rounder and a b or c prospect.... something like that for Mo.

I’d like a 2nd and Haltunnen from SJ. I think that’s fair.

It seems crazy but maybe the Leafs are gonna take a run at John Carlsson. Itwould be pretty interesting. I'd shocked but hey... maybe lol

I want Carlson more than I want Raddysh. Proven commodity, no long term risk. We currently have a 2 year window afterwards we may turn the corner and rebuild or we might resign Matthews, or sign McDavid and keep going for it. We don't know that path right now. I'd rather maximize the next 2 years while keeping options open rather than pray Raddysh is real and pin that cap space down for the next 7 years.
