I don't think any team is offering Bobrovsky that kind of term and money....perhaps 3 x $6MM

So much that could happen it’s hard to make predictions at this point as to what Chayka may be up to. Very easy to build a roster with nothing more than money in free agency (assuming you can get your guy of course). But that would leave so many players like Robertson, Maccelli, Rielly shipped off without accounting for their returns.
Really if you can go grab a Tuch & Jenner for nothing more than dollars..I think you’re looking at a playoff calibre roster

I don't know if he has any issues about Stolarz durability, but I have heard that Stolarz was shopped around with nothing of interest being offered up before the Maple Leafs traded Woll.

I could see that, might need to take like a 5th-7th round pick or future considerations.

Yea, the insiders got zero hints about the Woll trade, didn't mentioned Hiller at all during the month long coaching search, etc.

There was some smoke around Raddysh, but that existed since Treliving and was an easy dot to connect (he's from Toronto, we have capspace, he fills out biggest need, etc), so not convinced insiders actually had any legit recent inside knowledge on that one.

Hopefully the Bobrovsky stuff is just more nonsense, or intentional smoke screens from the Leafs.

McDavid will love playing for Babs. He is great to guys like him. It’s guys farther down the lineup he will torture.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Kappanen had let it be known he is going to free agency. He played for Babcock in the bottom 6 in Toronto and has an idea what he would be in for.

If you go watch Kypers segment on the recent Shannon and MIllard podcast.

Shannon threw out the idea that Matthews and his camp weren't thrilled about Chayka saying he knew the family to some extent.

I mean, to this point, they've done quite a bit to appease him, so the idea that this is still out there is interesting.

Didn't listen to the segment, but this screams Kyper bullshit.
